Sian joined PiXL in 2011 when it was in its infancy as a start up. Her roles as you would expect with a fast paced start-up company covered a broad range of areas including communication, event organisation, membership co-ordination, marketing, digital offering and managing an operations team. During her time at PiXL, it grew from circa 80 schools up to over 3000 at its peak membership and from a team of 4 staff members to over 40. Her recent positions included serving as Director of Operations and Director of People, both of which entailed board responsibilities.

Prior to PiXL Sian enjoyed a successful career in education recruitment working for Hays Education. Where she specialised in working with schools both in the UK and overseas to assist them in their permanent recruitment. Her last role was a Regional Manager responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of 6 offices in the South, including London.
